For our anniversary, I took Alex to The Art Beat in Campbell (South Bay, CA). It was my first time making anything with clay, and it was really fun for the both of us! I made a tray/platter and Alex made a pot to grow a basil plant. The first session was to shape and create our art work, and the second session was to paint it and have it bake in the kiln for ceramics.
